Based in Procopio’s Orange County office, Jordan assists clients with a wide variety of legal matters, including real estate transactions, obtaining land use entitlements and approvals, and the navigation of the state’s evolving California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) regulations.

He is experienced at guiding clients through environmental impact analyses and issues related to CEQA and keeps up on its evolving impact on current and future real estate projects.

Jordan’s experience in California real estate transactions is extensive. He spearheaded the acquisition of a large Los Angeles performance venue, represented a major movie studio in the $1.85-billion sale of a historic studio space, negotiated a long-term development agreement for creation of a large-scale Southern California industrial development, and obtained a refund in excess of $2 million from government agencies in a challenge to administrative impact fees. He has also advised cannabis companies of all sizes in California and in the national and international market on issues of land use, zoning, real estate considerations, and regulatory compliance, as well as corporate structuring to achieve business goals, including facilitating the merger and acquisition of a billion-dollar commercial cannabis entity.
