Overview
Jordan advises corporate clients on all manner of real estate, land use, environmental, government contracts, and regulatory compliance matters. He regularly addresses entitlement processes, licensing and development agreements, and regulatory compliance issues. Jordan also assists in negotiating with government entities, and drafts and defends bid protests at the city, county, and state levels. He is experienced at guiding clients through environmental impact analyses and issues related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and keeps up on its evolving impact on current and future real estate projects.
- Spearheaded acquisition of a large performance venue in Los Angeles.
- Represented a major studio in the $1.85-billion sale of a historic studio space.
- Negotiated a long-term development agreement for creation of a large-scale industrial development in Southern California.
- Obtained a refund in excess of $2 million from government agencies in challenge to administrative impact fees.
- Advise cannabis companies of all sizes in California and in the national and international market on issues of land use, zoning, real estate considerations, and regulatory compliance and on corporate structuring to achieve business goals, including facilitating the merger and acquisition of a billion dollar commercial cannabis entity.
