Congratulations to Procopio client Revolution Medicines, Inc. (Nasdaq: RVMD) on entering into leases for approximately 672,000 square feet of space at Pacific Shores Center in Redwood City, California, part of what was once former Google offices. The new space is expected to nearly double the biotechnology company’s local footprint as it continues to grow its operations. Revolution Medicines has expanded from approximately 61,000 square feet in 2020 to about 293,000 square feet today.

Procopio advised Revolution Medicines in securing the lease, with a team led by Real Estate Partner David Crawford and assisted by Special Counsel Karli Joseph. The transaction reflects Procopio’s continued work in a challenging market securing significant leases for life sciences companies, whose laboratory, research, infrastructure and operational requirements can make real estate decisions particularly complex.

Revolution Medicines is a commercial-stage oncology company whose mission is to revolutionize treatment for patients with RAS-addicted cancers through the discovery, development and delivery of innovative targeted medicines.
Our client also reached a major milestone in August when the FDA approved RASONQUE™ (daraxonrasib) for certain adults with metastatic pancreatic cancer, the first targeted cancer medicine approved from a new class of RAS(ON) inhibitors. The approval marked Revolution Medicine’s transition to a commercial-stage oncology company.

Pacific Shores Center is a 106-acre bayfront business park at the end of Seaport Boulevard. Google acquired much of the campus in 2014 and previously used it as an office hub before leaving the property in 2024. Portions of the campus have since been acquired by Farallon Capital Management, with Harvest Properties also moving to acquire buildings there.
