April 23, 2026, Irvine, CA – Experienced Trusts and Estates attorney Jason Galaif has joined Procopio as a Partner. Based in the firm’s growing Orange County office, Jason also serves many clients across Los Angeles and southern California more broadly. He advises high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning strategies, with an emphasis on tax efficiency, trust structuring, and business succession. Jason is also a certified public accountant, which informs his approach to integrating legal, financial, and business considerations in client strategies.
“Jason brings the kind of tax and estate planning experience our clients are asking for,” said Procopio Managing Partner Dennis Doucette. “His CPA background provides a real advantage when working through complex financial and tax issues with high-net-worth clients.”
Jason has nearly a decade of experience and in addition to his law degree earned an LLM in Taxation. His client base includes entrepreneurs, private equity and venture capital principals, real estate investors, business owners, and executives. His work includes advising on tax-efficient structuring for high-net-worth families.
“I chose Procopio because I was looking for a firm where I can continue to grow my private client practice and work closely with colleagues across disciplines,” said Jason. “Procopio gives me that opportunity, and I’m looking forward to growing the Orange County office and continuing to help clients navigate increasingly complex estate and tax planning decisions as part of Procopio’s Trusts and Estates practice.”
Jason earned his JD and LLM in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law and his BS in Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
