May 22, 2024 (San Diego, CA) – Four innovative startups have been selected to participate in Procopio’s 2024 LaunchPad incubator class of companies. They include the developer of a SaaS platform decoding human cognition (Braintelligence), the maker of an indoor-safe continuous power generator (Emission Free Generators), the creator of a digital end-to-end platform for fire safety (Digital Fire Prevention), and an innovator in battery diagnostics helping to maximize battery life (ReJoule). Among the offerings of the LaunchPad incubator is office space in Procopio’s Del Mar Heights offices, located in the heart of San Diego’s high-technology community. The program also offers additional benefits for emerging growth companies beginning their formation, protection of core technology, early funding and growth.

Since 2012, participating entrepreneurs have worked side by side with Procopio attorneys focused on understanding their industries and positioning them for growth and success. LaunchPad has hosted startups in a wide array of industries, including software and Internet-based technology, high-tech hardware, life sciences and med tech, health care and digital health care, clean tech and renewable energy, and telecom.

LaunchPad participants receive a selection of complimentary corporate and intellectual property legal services along with office space and back-office business support. The nine-month program also includes educational opportunities on key topics including valuation, funding, intellectual property strategy, employment issues, and pursuing a strong exit. Procopio attorneys provide ongoing legal support and assist with corporate structuring, patent protection, investor pitches, branding, and growth strategy.

• Braintelligence is a pioneering SaaS platform merging neuroscience and technology to decode human cognition. • Emission Free Generators (EFG) is a first of its kind zero emission, continuous power generator that can be safely used indoors, unlike any generator, bringing electricity to the B2B, B2C and humanitarian markets. Their proprietary technology is independent of the grid, solar, batteries or fossil fuels. The EFG product produces hydrogen-on-demand from a novel solid-state fuel cartridge that converts into electricity all within a portable, clean, silent, consistent, and toxic free generator.

• ReJoule has engineered a fast diagnostics platform that maximizes the value of electric vehicle (EV) batteries. Their solution has been implemented on three continents by major automakers to efficiently test batteries to enable the circular economy and reduce battery waste.
