PARALEGAL – HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION, AND GOVERNMENT (SAN DIEGO)

Procopio is seeking a Paralegal to work in the areas of Healthcare, Education and Public Agencies.  Responsibilities include drafting of basic discovery and responding to document demands.  Experience with coordinating document signing in complex financial transactions and producing closing transcripts for such transactions is preferred. Experience with ESI data collection and organization is essential, as is familiarity with San Diego court rules; Orange County court rules experience a plus.  Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ related experience and a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved program. MS Word and Excel proficiency is required.  Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to be a team player and the desire to provide outstanding client service are fundamental.

Marketing Assistant (San Diego)

Procopio has an immediate opening for a full-time Marketing Assistant. The Assistant will work on firm advertising collateral, brochures and social media, including the design and tracking of firm wide advertisements for deadlines and renewal.  The role also includes support of the new attorney onboarding process, related activities include drafting of biographies, preparing announcements, business cards and adding new hires to firm wide software. In addition, this person will handle various administrative tasks within the marketing department including but not limited to invoice tracking, marketing inventory tracking, scheduling of photoshoots for new attorneys, updating the firm website, monitoring practice meetings and assisting with events as needed. Experience with RFP’s would be helpful as would CRM database experience. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of marketing experience in a professional services environment. Must have the ability to prioritize daily workload, as well as recognize and act on important details and deadlines. Must have the ability to work under pressure, respond quickly to changing demands, and be self-motivated with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM databases and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
