We’re hiring an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant / Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy Intellectual Property Litigation team in our downtown San Diego office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting complex, high-stakes matters.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in supporting attorneys handling sophisticated intellectual property and complex commercial litigation matters in federal courts and administrative forums. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, responsive, and capable of managing a heavy litigation desk with competing deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting, formatting, proofreading, and managing pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and other litigation documents
- Handling heavy district court e-filing, including federal court filings without the use of a full-service e-filing vendor
- Maintaining attorney calendars and tracking litigation deadlines across multiple matters
- Communicating professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
- Assisting attorneys with logistics and preparation for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and case strategy meetings
- Supporting matters involving coordinated or complex litigation procedures, including JCCP matters where applicable
- Assisting with matters before the International Trade Commission (“ITC”), or learning ITC procedures and filing requirements as needed
- Collaborating closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative team members to support the overall needs of the practice group
What We’re Looking For
- At least 7 years of litigation legal assistant or litigation legal secretary experience within a law firm environment
- Intellectual property litigation experience strongly preferred; substantial federal court filing experience will also be considered
- Experience with district court e-filing and federal litigation procedures required
- Familiarity with JCCP or other complex litigation matters preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility and willingness to work occasional late hours to support filing deadlines and trial needs
- Ability to work in the San Diego office at least three days per week
- Interest in or ability to support billable work is a plus

Procopio is seeking a Floater Legal Assistant to join the team in our Orange County office. The Floater Legal Assistant will provide administrative and substantive legal support to attorneys and practice teams across the Firm on an as-needed basis. This role serves as a flexible resource supporting multiple practice groups during attorney absences, staffing transitions, high-volume periods, trial preparation, and special projects. The Floater Legal Assistant is expected to quickly adapt to varying attorney preferences, practice group procedures, and shifting priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism, organization, and client service.
Responsibilities include preparing, proofreading, revising, and formatting legal documents, pleadings, agreements, discovery, correspondence, and other materials; assisting with court filings, calendaring, scheduling, travel coordination, and expense processing; and managing electronic and physical files through the Firm’s document management systems. This position will also support substantive legal projects such as document review, cite-checking, factual research, transaction binders, exhibit organization, and trial preparation support.
The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset are essential, as this role interacts regularly with attorneys, clients, staff, court personnel, and vendors across multiple practice groups. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, exercising sound judgment, and adjusting quickly to changing business needs.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required, along with experience using document management systems such as iManage and electronic filing platforms including PACER and state court filing systems. Experience with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis or Westlaw is preferred. Candidates must meet California paralegal requirements through a qualifying certificate, degree, or equivalent law-related experience. Prior law firm experience supporting attorneys in multiple practice areas is strongly preferred. This position is non-exempt and hourly and will be hybrid in-office.

The International Tax Case Assistant will support the firm’s International Tax and Latin America practice by providing administrative, legal, and office support in our Washington, DC office. This role works closely with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to assist with client matters, legal document preparation, scheduling, matter organization, and day-to-day office operations. Responsibilities include maintaining electronic files, assisting with client intake and matter openings, preparing correspondence, coordinating meetings and deadlines, and supporting Spanish-language communication and document review for international tax matters.
This position will also assist with general office and facilities support, including answering phones, greeting clients and visitors, processing mail and deliveries, maintaining conference rooms and common areas, and supporting office meetings and events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and service-oriented approach. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, clients, and vendors are essential.
Spanish fluency is required, including the ability to read, write, and communicate professionally in both English and Spanish. Prior law firm experience or experience supporting tax, immigration, international, or corporate legal matters is preferred. Procopio is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our Accounting & Finance Department in our Downtown San Diego office on a hybrid schedule. The Collections Specialist will support the Finance Department by managing accounts receivable and driving timely collections of outstanding client balances. This person will work closely with attorneys, billing staff, and clients to ensure accurate account status, resolve payment issues, and maintain strong client relationships. Responsibilities include monitoring aging reports, following up on overdue invoices, researching payment discrepancies, and coordinating with attorneys on collection strategies. The Collections Specialist will also respond to client inquiries regarding account balances, provide supporting documentation when needed, and assist with maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can balance persistence with professionalism in client communications.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to prioritize multiple accounts effectively, and a customer service mindset when working with attorneys and clients. Candidates should be comfortable handling sensitive financial conversations and navigating payment discussions with professionalism and tact. Procopio is seeking a Senior Applications & Reporting Analyst (Finance & Risk) to join the team in our Irvine office in Orange County on a hybrid work schedule. The Senior Applications & Reporting Analyst will play a key role in supporting the firm’s financial systems, reporting infrastructure, and business operations. This position is responsible for the oversight, optimization, and performance of the firm’s financial management and intake/conflicts platforms, while delivering reporting and analytics that support strategic decision-making across Finance, Risk, Practice Teams, and Firm Leadership.
Responsibilities include administering and supporting the firm’s Intapp ecosystem and Aderant platform, managing system updates and integrations, and developing dashboards and reporting tools that provide insights into billing, collections, attorney activity, client trends, and other key business metrics. This role will also support budgeting and financial reporting initiatives, contribute to data quality and governance efforts, and help identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and the use of emerging legal technology and AI tools.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in analytics, business systems, or reporting, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong experience with Intapp, Aderant, SQL Server, advanced Excel, and reporting or business intelligence tools is highly preferred. Responsibilities

Review and analyze docketing requests and associated documents and accurately calculate critical dates and related deadlines.

The Marketing & Business Development Manager will play a key role in supporting the firm’s growth initiatives across Southern California, while being based in our Irvine office. This position will partner closely with attorneys and firm leadership to develop and execute strategic marketing and business development initiatives that drive client growth, strengthen relationships, and enhance the firm’s visibility in the regional market. While experience in technology and life sciences sectors is valued, this role will support a broad range of practice areas and industry initiatives aligned with the firm’s overall growth strategy.
Responsibilities include collaborating with attorneys and practice group leaders to develop and implement business development plans, identifying new client opportunities and cross-selling initiatives, and supporting the execution of targeted outreach strategies throughout Southern California. The Marketing & Business Development Manager will also lead the development of pitches, proposals, and client presentations; coordinate and execute client events, sponsorships, and seminars; and help elevate the firm’s presence within key business and professional networks. This role will track and report on business development activity and results, support lateral integration efforts, and partner with the broader marketing team on branding, communications, and digital initiatives. The position requires a strategic, proactive professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong client service approach.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in marketing and/or business development within a professional services environment, with law firm experience strongly preferred. Candidates should have strong knowledge of the Southern California market, particularly Orange County, and a demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with senior stakeholders, including attorneys and firm leadership. Experience supporting technology, life sciences, or other innovation-driven sectors is a plus but not required. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management abilities, and a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset.
