Procopio’s Conflicts team is growing! We are seeking a Client Intake Assistant who will work directly with our conflicts team to open new client matters. This person will be responsible for heavy data entry and the ideal candidate must be organized and comfortable with new technology. This role will also correspond with the attorneys on a daily basis to obtain pertinent information relating to new and ongoing client matters. They will also help to process file maintenance requests. Candidates must have strong overall technical skills, in addition to strong MS Office Suite skills. The candidate should also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are going on simultaneously. This position requires 1+ years related experience in a law firm or professional services corporate environment. This position is located at our downtown San Diego office where you are able to work a hybrid schedule if desired (up to 2 days work-from-home). We’re hiring an experienced Paralegal – Real Estate (Lending) to support our commercial lending and real estate practice in our San Diego or Del Mar Heights offices. What You’ll Do
You’ll play a critical role in supporting attorneys and lending clients in all aspects of commercial loan transactions—from initial documentation through post-closing. In this role, you will:
- Prepare, review, and revise loan documents, including promissory notes, security agreements, guaranties, and closing certificates
- Coordinate all aspects of loan closings, including scheduling, document circulation, signature collection, and funding logistics
- Communicate directly with lenders, borrowers, title companies, and opposing counsel to facilitate smooth and timely transactions
- Order and review due diligence items such as UCC, tax lien, judgment, and litigation searches
- Prepare and file UCC financing statements and manage other required post-closing filings

- Prepare detailed closing checklists and track satisfaction of all conditions precedent
