The California Privacy Rights Act, passed in November 2020, amends the California Consumer Privacy Act and includes additional privacy protections for consumers. Most provisions will be operative January 1, 2023, with a look back to January 1, 2022. Senior Privacy Counsel Elaine Harwell of Procopio, and Mallory Jensen Senior Counsel of Wells Fargo, are presenting for an informative and practical discussion about the CPRA on May 24, 2022. The session will cover:

  • How the CPRA differs from CCPA requirements
  • Strategies on how to comply with CPRA
  • What to expect from the California Privacy Protection Agency, including rulemaking and enforcement
  • Tips to stay ahead of changing privacy laws
