July 27, 2016 (San Diego) _ Procopio continues the expansion of its internationally recognized construction team with the addition of Laurence R. Phillips as Partner.

Mr. Phillips brings nearly 20 years of experience representing contractors, subcontractors/suppliers, developers and public agencies in all aspects of private and public works contracting. He handles a range of issues including contract drafting and negotiations, prevailing wage law counseling, bid protests, resolution of claims arising prior to project completion and, when necessary, resolution of claims through mediation, arbitration, administrative hearings, civil trials (including jury trials) and appeals.

Mr. Phillips currently serves on the Federal Acquisition Regulation Committee of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and on the board of directors of San Diego ACE Mentor, Inc., and the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) – San Diego.  He regularly speaks, provides training and publishes articles for the AGC, the CMAA, Aspen Publishers, Thomson Reuters and other trade associations and publishers.
