Sheila Hanley

Sheila represents employers in employment and labor disputes and advises them on
day-to-day workplace issues. Her litigation practice includes single-plaintiff
discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination claims, as well as
PAGA and wage and hour class actions and contract disputes in California state and
federal courts and before arbitral panels.

Sheila handles matters throughout the litigation process, including pleadings, discovery,
depositions, dispositive motions, court appearances, settlement negotiations and
alternative dispute resolution. She also counsels employers on employment policies and
workplace issues, responds to administrative complaints, drafts employee handbooks
and works with human resources and other internal teams to address employment
concerns.

Sheila also has experience with traditional labor matters, including NLRB unfair labor
practice proceedings, representation elections, collective bargaining and employer
training.
