Overview

For almost 20 years, Juan Pablo provides effective and efficient legal solutions in the areas of estate planning and trust administration to domestic and international clients, including high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and family offices; corporate trustees, professional fiduciaries and individual trustees; and trust beneficiaries. He works with his colleagues to assist clients throughout the United States with a variety of legal matters.

  • Designed and implemented estate planning strategies for Mexican individuals, families and family offices with assets in the U.S. and/or U.S. citizen/resident family members.
  • Designed and implemented estate planning strategies for U.S. individuals, families and family offices with assets in Mexico.
  • Represented corporate trustees, professional fiduciaries and individual trustees serving as trustees of trusts with foreign assets and/or foreign beneficiaries.
  • Advised trust beneficiaries and protected their rights from the beginning to the end of the trust administration process, including pre-litigation issues.
  • Prepared gift tax returns (Form 709) and estate tax returns (Forms 706 and 706NA) and assisted clients facing IRS audits of the same.
  • Assisted clients with pre-immigration planning before they moved to the U.S.
  • Designed and implemented charitable planning strategies for domestic and international clients.
