Anne focuses her practice on complex business and real estate transactions, including assisting clients with the review, negotiation, structure and preparation of purchase and sale agreements, commercial/industrial leases, CMBS loans, legal and enforceability opinions, stock and asset purchase transactions, 1031 and reverse 1031 exchanges, asset management and general business transactions.

  • Advised, negotiated and closed purchase of vacant land for entitlement and development as a medical center.
  • Assisted client in the purchase of multiple improved commercial/industrial properties in excess of $50M for redevelopment as a mix-use project.
  • Assist clients in acquisitions of ground leasehold interests in improved commercial centers in Southern California, and ground subleasehold interests in Arizona for commercial ventures and development.
  • Successfully negotiated and documented retail and commercial leases with national chains (including Starbucks and major life-science companies).
  • Assist clients in real estate due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, including performing title review, title consolidation and lease negotiation.
  • Assist clients with comprehensive asset management of shopping centers in Southern California.
  • Successfully structured, documented and closed more than $300M in qualified 1031 reverse exchange transactions.
  • Assist clients with comprehensive real property asset restructuring within complex family trusts.
