    San Diego, CA – Tyrone Allen died yesterday at Scripps Mercy Hospital after more than five months of intense suffering. On August 28, 2008, Mr. Allen and his wife were making their way through a pedestrian walkway on the outside perimeter of a construction project at 15th and Imperial Streets in downtown San Diego's East Village when the walkway collapsed on top of him.
