Intellectual Property (IP) rights are frequently the most valuable assets a company has and frequently not protected adequately. Identifying and protecting a company’s intellectual property rights is imperative for raising funding and for the future success of a company.
This program will give you a basic understanding of the different types of IP protection, how to identify IP rights, and how to protect IP rights, with a particular emphasis on patents.

About the Presenter
Stephen Beuerle is a patent attorney and partner at Procopio. Mr. Beuerle has over twenty years experience as a patent practioner. He served as the head of Procopio’s Intellectual Property Law Group and as a member of the firm’s management committee. Mr. Beuerle has obtained hundreds of patents and registered trademarks for his clients and has issued over ten patents on his own inventions.
