Mid-Level Associate - Land Use & Real Estate (Transactional)

Procopio is seeking to hire a transactional Land Use attorney with significant experience (4-7 years) in all facets of the California land use entitlement process including land use due diligence (review/analysis of state and local land use, planning and zoning laws), preparation and review of entitlement application packages and environmental documents, review and analysis of CEQA exemptions, mitigation measures, drafting development agreements and related land use agreements, appearing at community group meetings, public hearings and meetings with agency staff, and review and implementation of conditions of approval. Candidate should have a strong desire to practice land use as part of a long-term career plan.

Mid-Level Associate - Land Use & Real Estate (Litigation)

Procopio is seeking to hire a mid-level Associate with 3-5 years of focused experience in Real Estate and Land Use Litigation, including extensive experience with CEQA and NEPA. Candidate must also have substantive exposure to the California Coast Act, California Planning and Zoning Law, the Subdivision Map Act, Brown Act and other land use and municipal law issues. Intellectual Property Attorney - Palo Alto

Procopio Cory Hargreaves & Savitch LLP seeks an Intellectual Property Attorney for its Palo Alto Office.  Duties include analysis of inventive technologies in high technology product development including computer technologies, neurosynaptic computing, electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications and network technologies, digital and analog signal processing, circuit design and storage devices for the purpose of patent procurement; Assist in procurement of patents in the US Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), prepare and prosecute domestic patent applications in a wide range of technologies, prepare responses to USPTO Office Actions, analysis of inventive technology for procurement of patents worldwide, prepare international patent applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty and national phase patent applications, prepare recommendations for responses to foreign office Actions/Examination Reports from foreign Patent Offices, manage domestic and international intellectual property portfolios for various clients, conduct prior art searches, prepare legal analysis for technology related intellectual property, prepare legal pleadings and papers for intellectual property and related matters.  Position requires a Juris Doctorate, admission to practice law in a US state, a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, three years of experience practicing patent law, and experience preparing patent applications for wireless communications systems in an extremely fast paced environment.

Mid-Level Patent Attorney - Orange County

Procopio is seeking to hire a mid-level Patent attorney to join Procopio’s Intellectual Property Team in its Orange County office. Eligible candidates will have AT LEAST 3-5 years of significant experience in Patent Prep & Pros work. Candidates MUST have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering OR computer engineering. Position requires both state bar admission (California bar preferred, but not required) and USPTO bar admission. Out-of-state candidates must be willing to relocate to Irvine/San Diego. Excellent undergrad academic credentials required. Candidates must be highly skilled in technology and wireless communications. Candidates will be expected to work effectively in a team-oriented culture and with professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly.

Mid-Level Environmental Associate

Procopio is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in Environmental Law. This candidate must have a proven and significant interest in Environmental Law (i.e. bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energy, Natural Resources, etc., particular focus in Environmental Law on law school transcript, etc.). Successful candidates must have top academic credentials and excellent analytical, writing and computer skills.  Past experience with environmental compliance, permitting and enforcement (civil and criminal matters) is preferred. Exposure to specific areas such as water quality, hazardous waste and substances, air quality, CEQA, NEPA, and endangered species is important. Major law firm experience or significant in-house experience helpful.

Junior Real Estate Finance Associate

Mid-Level Healthcare Associate

Procopio is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Healthcare law or related field. Preference is for candidate with experience in provider representation, medical staff and quality oversight, advising on fraud and abuse, Stark Law, corporate compliance, Medicare/Medicaid, affiliation and integration transactions and licensure, physician and hospital contracting, and regulatory and reimbursement issues.
