NOTICE TO SEARCH FIRMS: Search firms that wish to present candidates to Procopio must do so through the Recruiting Contact listed on this page, and will be expected to sign Procopio’s current Fee Agreement before we review their candidate submission. Real Estate Associate (Mid-Level)

Procopio is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in transactional real estate law, with excellent drafting and analysis skills and the ability to assume substantial client responsibility. The ideal candidate will also have some experience in drafting and revising leases, purchase and sale documents, report and survey analysis, and closing purchase, sale, and financing transactions. This candidate must have top-quality writing, and have an interest in growing and learning.  Experience at sophisticated law firm and CA license are both preferred, but not required.  Candidate should have a short horizon to business development.

Senior Attorney: Environmental Law

Procopio is seeking an attorney with top academic credentials and a minimum of ten years’ experience in Environmental Law.  The ideal candidate would have wide ranging experience in clean air, water quality and supply matters, hazardous materials, waste and regulatory permitting.  Specific experience with land use, public agencies, clean-tech, Native American and energy issues are a bonus.  Successful candidates will have excellent writing and client relations skills.  Need some portable business.  Major law firm experience, or significant in-house experience preferred.  Competitive salary, outstanding benefit package and a dynamic, team environment.

Native American Summer Internship

Procopio is seeking Native American law students (or law students with an emphasis in Native American Law) to join the Firm for a 10-week internship with the Native American Practice Group! Interns join a nationwide network of the next generation of Native American Law attorneys in an active alumni program consisting of Tribal Judges, governmental attorneys, Tribal attorneys, university professors, entrepreneurs and associates at law firms. Following the internship, we remain active with our alumni to mentor and prepare them for success in their career. Conflicts Attorney

Procopio is seeking to hire a Conflicts Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience practicing as an attorney in a mid-to-large size law firm. Experience in the area of conflict of interest law and/or professional responsibility is strongly preferred, with litigation experience a plus. The Conflicts Attorney would be responsible for daily review and analysis of conflicts of interest, conflict waivers, engagement agreements and other issues related to firm acceptance of new clients, new matters and the firm’s hiring of lateral attorneys and staff, and interface with the firm’s clearance partners, conflicts group and human resources team regarding approval of new clients, new matters and lateral hiring requests.  The Conflicts Attorney will handle additional assignments from the firm’s General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and occasionally from the Management Committee. CA license required.

TRADEMARK ATTORNEY

Procopio is seeking to hire a Trademark attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join Procopio’s Intellectual Property Team. This position requires extensive experience in both U.S. and foreign trademark practice. Eligible candidates will be expected to handle U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution and assist with U.S. TTAB matters and manage foreign trademark enforcement via foreign associate law firms. Experience with trademark litigation is a plus. Position requires California state bar admission. Excellent academic credentials required. Candidates will be expected to work effectively in a team-oriented culture and with professionalism, attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly.

Real Estate/Tax Attorney

We are currently seeking an  attorney with at least 5 years’ relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in highly sophisticated real estate joint ventures and top academic credentials with specific coursework or experience in partnership tax.  The candidate should have experience in drafting complex real estate limited liability company and partnership agreements. The ideal candidate would have significant real estate and/or tax experience, top quality writing  and negotiating skills, and exposure to partnership taxation.  Background in BigLaw and CA license are both preferred, but not required.

Junior Business/Securities Associate

Procopio is seeking to hire a junior associate specializing in securities law to join Procopio’s Business & Technology Team.  This candidate must have at least 2-3 years of significant experience in SEC reporting, SEC filings, public and private securities offerings and related matters. The work will primarily be in support of our existing securities practice. Candidate must be willing to take direction and provide day-to-day support and attention to routine SEC filings, client press releases, board consents, and standard corporate and securities matters. Candidate is required to have experience in public company reporting compliance, securities offerings, and the drafting of private placement memoranda, subscription documents, standard venture capital and seed financing documents, and related blue sky filings. Position requires California bar admission and excellent academic credentials. Applicants are expected to have strong writing, verbal, analytical and research skills.
