Procopio Partner Michael Lyon to Lead Real Estate and Environmental Team

San Diego, CA Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP partner Michael Lyon has been named head of the Firm's real estate and environmental team.

Lyon has been practicing real estate and finance law in San Diego since 1982 and currently works in Procopio’s Carlsbad office. His work encompasses a wide range of real estate transactional matters, with an emphasis on mezzanine lending and other real estate financing, acquisitions and sales, development projects, joint venture formation and other equity investments. Lyon received his bachelor’s degree in economics (with honors) and law degree from the University of California at Davis, where he served as an editor of its law review, and was previously a principal at Hilding Kipnis Lyon & Kelly. Lyon also serves as legal counsel to Temple Solel, Encinitas, on a pro bono basis.
