The Downtown San Diego Partnership holds its annual Alonzo Awards dinner Wednesday evening, honoring people, projects and programs that have contributed to downtown.
The Partnership released the names of winners Tuesday, and are as follows:
Founders Award, Jim Dawe;
Alonzo Award of Excellence, California Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher;
Chairman’s Award, Robin Munro;
Sustainability Award, San Diego Convention Center Corp.;
Vic Kops Humanitarian Award, St. Vincent De Paul Villages; and,
Distinguished Alonzo Award, San Diego Symphony.
Alonzo Awards also go to Channel 4 San Diego; Procopio Cory Hargreaves & Savitch; the San Diego Public Library Foundation; Ten Fifty B Street, Affirmed Housing Group; and the San Diego Chargers.
The awards are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. The dinner program begins at 7 p.m.
