Chairman Timothy Brick of the Metropolitan Water District will review the District’s water planning process for present and future water resources, water augmentation, water efficiency measures and District projects that will affect all San Diego businesses and residents. San Diego County Water Authority is the District’s largest customer and the Chairman’s presentation is of particular importance to our region.

Dr. David Pierce, is a Scripps Institution of Oceanography Program Analyst in Climate Research. He has conducted analysis of the effects of climate change on the Colorado River, Northern California, and the Bay Delta. He will review his work on these projects and provide a forecast of what the future could be for our local water supply.
