This candidate will work closely with practice groups to develop and execute all firm-wide sponsorships and events.
Facilitate all logistics for firm-wide events including negotiating contracts, pre-conference meetings and scheduling, venue research, managing all correspondence with panelists and their offices, venue and vendor contacts.
Organizing all invitee and attendee information via the firm's client database, managing responses for each event including the printing and recording of RSVP's.
Help to develop and coordinate materials for seminars and events including general program logistics: preparing nametags, day-of-event schedule/annotated agendas, program handouts, researching and arranging for panelist or client gifts.
Assisting in the management of events on-site. Facilitating follow-up correspondence including letters to vendors, attendees and no-shows, Continuing Legal Education letters and certificate of attendance notification, and seminar materials to keep on file.
Generating event reports and tracking budget line items. Producing program binders and final cost reports.
Maintaining and distributing marketing annual calendar and event specific lists.
Handling client development and marketing related research projects for partners.
Work with the Marketing Coordinator on public relations and press outreach as it related to events and sponsorships.
Manage Industry, Trade, and Community Organization Relations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field required.
7+ years of marketing experience in a legal, professional services firm or corporation required.
Must have excellent organizational and written skills, strong verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and the capacity to work comfortably in a rapidly changing environment on multiple, ongoing projects.
Must be computer proficient with excellent technological skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management.
Knowledge of CRM system and/or experience maintaining a website a plus.
This is a full-time exempt position and reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Business Development.
