INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ATTORNEY – PATENT AGENT (SAN DIEGO)

Position available for an intellectual property attorney or patent agent with two or more years of experience and with a background in electrical engineering or software engineering. Applicants should have patent prosecution experience in technologies such as signal processing, telecommunications and encryption.  Admission to practice before USPTO is required; attorneys licensed in California preferred.

Tax Team – (Trust & Estates Group) Junior Associate

Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP, a full service law firm, has an immediate opening for a Trusts and Estates junior attorney with 3 or more years’ law firm experience to join our Tax Team (Trust & Estates Group).
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong drafting skills, including drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, advance health care directives, and powers of attorney.
  • Experience supporting probate and trust administrations.
  • An LL.M. in Tax is preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates should have a working knowledge of income, estate and gift taxes.  Estate and gift tax return experience preferred.
  • Excellent writing and research skills, top-tier academic credentials and California license all required.

Healthcare Attorney - Downtown San Diego Office

Procopio is seeking an attorney with top academic credentials with a minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare law. Experience specifically with California healthcare and public agency law helpful.  Successful candidates will have excellent writing and client relations skills.  Must include experience in provider representation: fraud and abuse; Stark; corporate compliance; Medicare/Medicaid; affiliation and integration transactions and licensure; physician and hospital contracting; and regulatory and reimbursement issues.  Major law firm experience, in-house experience with major healthcare company, or government experience preferred.  Competitive salary and outstanding benefit package.
