Steven A. Jaye

 Steven Jaye’s practice focuses on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, health care and alternative energy projects. Prior to joining Procopio, Mr. Jaye spent 13 years as Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Sunrise Medical in San Diego. Prior to his position with Sunrise, Mr. Jaye served for 4 years as Vice President of Legal Affairs for Magma Power Company, a publicly traded geothermal energy company, and spent 7 years as a business attorney in the Los Angeles and San Diego offices of Latham & Watkins. In addition to his role at Procopio, Mr. Jaye is currently the General Counsel for Joerns Healthcare in Wisconsin.

• Represented publicly traded alternative energy provider in global geothermal energy projects and other developments
• Represented publicly traded San Diego based health care manufacturer in its transactional and general business matters
• Represented various parties in mergers and acquisitions of businesses with stock exchange and private companies

 Mr. Jaye received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego in 1979. He received his law degree from the University of Southern California Law School in 1984.
