Lauren I. Symington
Director of Human Resources & Administration
Lauren Symington joined Procopio in 2011 and is responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function, including aligning the strategic and long term goals of the Human Resources department to best support the direction of the firm.
Prior to joining Procopio, Ms. Symington was the Human Resources Manager for Paul Hastings LLP’s San Diego and Orange County offices. She was previously employed by Newton & Associates, APLC, as a practicing attorney focused on estate planning, trust and probate administration. Other prior experience includes candidate recruitment, account development and account management as Division Director for Robert Half International, Inc.
Ms. Symington earned her B.A. in Liberal Studies in 2001 from San Diego State University and her J.D. in 2004 from California Western School of Law. She was admitted to the California Bar in 2004 and is a member of the State Bar of California. Ms. Symington also serves on the Board of Directors for San Diego's Deaf Community Services.
