Russell Jr. - Chair, Professional Standards Committee James G. Perkins Ph.D., Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for all of the firm's non-legal operations including, administration, finance, marketing and systems and is a member of the firm's management committee. Mr. Perkins received his undergraduate and doctoral degrees in England before coming to the United States in 1976. In 1981 he completed an MBA at the University of Chicago. He has more than 20 years of experience serving as a chief operating officer/chief financial officer in the professional services, management consulting and manufacturing industries. Mr. Perkins joined the firm in 1994. He was the head coach of the U.S. National Rugby team from 1987 through 1991. back to top » Craig A. Crosby, Director of Information Services, has over 14 years of legal technology experience and is responsible for the Firm's technology and data systems as well as facilitating the planning and implementation of the technology vision for the Firm's future. Craig joined Procopio in 2003, bringing with him over a decades worth of experience at AmLaw 100 firms. back to top » Kristen Esposito, Director of Marketing & Business Development, has spent the greater part of her career working with global professional services firms to develop and implement strategic client relationship programs, while raising their profile in key marketplaces. Most recently, she was with the New York office of Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP, where she managed the firm's global client relationship program. Prior to joining Paul Hastings, Kristen led the marketing and business development efforts of the northeast banking and securities practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP, also in New York. She joined Deloitte from the global marketing division of The Bank of New York, where she focused on branding and marketing communications for the private client and asset management sectors. Kristen holds a B.S. in Business and Economics, with a major in marketing, from Lehigh University. Richard "Randy" Ricks, Director of Accounting, is a current California CPA and an expert in the Elite accounting system. From 1998 to 2003 he was the Director of Accounting/Financial Systems for the Elite Company, and since their acquisition by The Thomson Group he has been the Director of Financial Systems and Global Accounts Receivable of Thomson Elite, based in Los Angeles. Prior to 1998 he had his own financial consulting firm in Los Angeles; worked as Senior Manager for a large accounting firm in Houston and was the Accounting Manager for a construction firm in San Antonio. Randy obtained his BS in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. back to top » Richard Swartzbaugh, Director of Human Resources and Administration, has more than 13 years of domestic & international experience in human resources management, and administration, working for a variety of Fortune 500, pre-IPO, publicly traded, and privately held companies. Prior to joining Procopio, he was Director & Vice President of Human Resources at Goal Financial, LLC based in San Diego, CA and Arlington, VA. While at Goal, he designed, developed, and executed all human capital management, administration, and facilities, materially contributing to the Company's growth to over $8.7B in assets as the 10th largest holder of student loans in the U.S. Before joining Goal Financial, Richard ran his own human resources consulting firm, served as Director of Human Resources & Administration for Novatel Wireless Inc (NASDAQ), and held human capital management responsibilities in a joint venture between QUALCOMM & SONY, and Maxell Corporation, a subsidiary of HITACHI. Richard obtained his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Iowa, his M.A. in Public Administration with emphasis in Industrial Relations from San Diego State University, and his B.A. in Public Administration from National University, and is active in a number of national, regional, and local professional associations associated with human capital management & business management. back to top » |
