Procopio/USD tax conference postponed due to swine flu

The San Diego Daily Transcript
04.30.2009

Due to the rising concern over the cases of swine flu in Mexico, the United States and the rest of the world, Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch and the University of San Diego have postponed their tax conference scheduled for Friday.

“We’ve decided to postpone the event out of concern for the safety and well-being of the conference attendees, the speakers and our employees,” said Patrick W. Martin, the leader of Procopio’s tax practice. “While we are disappointed that the conference must be put on hold, everyone’s safety is our main concern at this time.”

The conference has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 19. Registrations will be carried over so attendees who have already registered for the conference will not need to re-register for the new date.

Those who have questions or need further assistance can contact Francisco Sanchez Losada at 619-515-3225 or fsl@procopio.com.

The fifth annual University of San Diego School of Law - Procopio International Tax Institute Conference is the only conference dedicated exclusively to the latest developments in the dynamic field of U.S. and Mexican international tax law.
