People - Phillips Receives The State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manuel Award

Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP’s Robin Phillips received The State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manuel Award and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego’s Outstanding Service Award for his legal services contribution to the pro bono program in 2009 to 2010. Phillips received the award for his work involving an indigent couple who were terminated by their employer without being paid for services rendered. Phillips successfully settled the case for the full amount owed to the couple. In this case alone Phillips invested more than 200 hours of pro bono work. Phillips joined Procopio as an associate in March and focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation.
