The EDC’s 45th Annual Dinner brings together over 700 business leaders from throughout the region, a tradition that includes the election of directors and a celebration of civic leadership.
Keynote Speaker:
This year’s keynote speaker is Todd Buchholz, former director of economic policy at the White House, a managing director of the $15 billion Tiger hedge fund, and an award-winning economics teacher at Harvard. Named "Top 21 speakers in the 21st century" by Successful Meetings Magazine, Todd Buchholz intrigues audiences with his wit and knowledge about the global economy.
He is a best-selling author - his book Market Shock: 9 Economic and Social Upheavals that Will Shake Our Financial Future, was released to rave reviews and dubbed "outstanding" by the Wall Street Journal and The Associated Press says "Buchholz lights up economics with a wickedly sparkling wit".
