Climate Change and Business: Demystifying Science, Risk and Reward

June 06-07, 2008

7:45am-5pm

The Rady School of Management, UCSD

UC San Diego's Rady School of Management has partnered with Scripps Institution of Oceanography, to bring you “Climate Change and Business,” a two-day course to demystify scientific conclusions as they relate to business risks and investing opportunities. The Rady School and Scripps have assembled a panel of national experts in science, media, finance, corporate governance and business to discuss how climate change impacts your bottom line.

Although global warming has become a household phrase only in recent years, Scripps Institution of Oceanography has been a global leader in the science of climate change for half a century. In the face of controversy and debate over this hot topic, separating the scientific truths from media hype and spin has become increasingly difficult.

Get the tools you need to navigate through the clouded landscape of climate change talk, and make smart decisions about the impact of these environmental challenges on your business.
