Robert F. Stansell

Mr. Stansell specializes in venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and securities law matters, and other business transactions for a wide range of clients from entrepreneurs and start-up entities to emerging growth and publicly traded companies.

• All aspects of business entity formations, capital structuring and governance, including corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.
• Transactional representation of business entities from start-up through initial public offering.
• Mergers, acquisitions and other sales of businesses.
• Representation of venture capital funds and issuers in venture financings and other private equity transactions.
• Implementation of incentive stock option and stock purchase plans, and other executive compensation arrangements and agreements.

Robert Stansell received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1982, and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of San Diego in 1985. He was admitted as an attorney in California in 1985, in New York in 1987, and in Colorado in 1995.

Mr. Stansell served as Co-Chair of the Corporations Committee of the State Bar of California from 2000 to 2001, and from 2001 to 2002 as a member of the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California's Business Law Section. He is an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.
