Craig P. Sapin

Mr. Sapin specializes in tax and business matters. He represents various partnerships, corporations, and individuals in areas such as limited liability company and partnership syndications, mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, real estate planning, and tax controversy issues.

Mr. Sapin attended Dartmouth College and received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California at San Diego. He received his law degree from U.C.L.A. School of Law in 1981. He also attended the Institute for International Law in Oxford, England. He was admitted to practice in California in 1981 and in federal tax court in 1982. Mr. Sapin is a Certified Specialist in Taxation, granted by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Based on votes received from his peers in San Diego, he was selected for inclusion in the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011, Southern California Super Lawyers® - San Diego lists for Tax, and a semi-finalist for the 2010 Top Attorneys list for the Corporate Transactions field (voted by peers; San Diego Daily Transcript).
